Ingredients :
1 kg rump steak
1 tbsp oil
3 tbsp Thai curry paste
6 chilies
750 ml water
125 ml coconut cream
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp caster sugar
30 g basil leaves
Method :
- Slice the beef very thinly.
- Heat the oil in a wok or pan and fry the curry paste for 1 minute.
- Add the water and coconut cream and bring to the boil.
- Add the meat slices and chilies and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the fish sauce, sugar and basil, stir and serve immediately with steamed rice and salad.
