Thai Beef Curry

Ingredients :


1 kg rump steak

1 tbsp oil

3 tbsp Thai curry paste

6 chilies

750 ml water

125 ml coconut cream

2 tbsp fish sauce

1 tbsp caster sugar

30 g basil leaves


Method :

  1. Slice the beef very thinly.
  2. Heat the oil in a wok or pan and fry the curry paste for 1 minute.
  3. Add the water and coconut cream and bring to the boil.
  4. Add the meat slices and chilies and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the fish sauce, sugar and basil, stir and serve immediately with steamed rice and salad.
